XSET Launches Black Xcellence Campaign
In 2023, XSET’s Black Xcellence initiative was created to produce a user-generated, crowd-sourced activation, focusing on promoting underserved Black gamers. Throughout Black History Month, Black gamers submitted short videos via social media, in which they showcased what their own gaming lifestyle brand would look and sound like. The team at XSET chose three winners to fly to XSET’s studio in LA for a workshop to develop their brand, design, produce, market and sell their very own apparel capsule. This is all for the Black gamers themselves; XSET keeps none of their profits.
XSET chose three gamers– Max Rhyms, LilChaos, and Maurisha Mcsavage, all of whom showed us their vision for an innovative lifestyle gaming brand of their own.
